Corporate Health and Safety Policy
ANDEAN ANTHRACITE ACE S.A. is a foreign investment company with extensive experience dedicated to the export of coal, exploitation of other mines and quarries, wholesale of metals, as well as metallic minerals, with its main office in Lima and operations office in Trujillo. It has highly qualified personnel in its various areas and ensures the protection of all its staff, as well as interested parties. In this regard, AAA is committed to:
- Promote and guarantee the conditions of safety, health, and physical, mental, and social integrity of workers during the development of their activities at the workplace, in all those places where they are assigned due to the necessity of the service. The main objectives are the prevention of injuries and deterioration of health related to work, through raising awareness among all workers about the dangers and risks; and the implementation of associated operational controls.
- Comply with legal requirements and other regulations to which the company is subject in terms of Occupational Health and Safety.
- Assign responsibilities at all hierarchical levels, ensuring active participation for the implementation, monitoring, and permanence of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
- Train personnel in Occupational Health and Safety issues; as well as promote the elimination of dangers and risk prevention in all activities.
- Implement channels for consultation and participation of workers in Occupational Health and Safety issues; as well as for the election of their representatives.
- Promote continuous improvement in the prevention of injuries and deterioration of workers' health by eliminating hazards, alongside risk reduction, with the participation of all those who belong to the company through the implementation of subsequent reviews of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
- Integrate Occupational Health and Safety Management into the comprehensive management of the company.
